HIMCRS LLC SERVICES
MEDICAL BILLING
HIMCRS LLC will take care of all your compete medical billing needs. HIMCRS will submit clean and correct claims the first time submitted to insure quick and accurate reimbursement of claims. HIMCRS LLC will bill all your medical claims to all primary, secondary and third carrier insurance companies for reimbursement. This will also include workman compensation claims and personal injury claims. Each claim will be submitted to the insurance company within 24 hours of keying in the claim into the billing system. All claims will be billed out through a clearinghouse whenever possible to insure quicker payment reimbursement. Complete followup of all claims submitted will be routinely conducted daily to insure a quick and speedy reimbursement.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE/DELINQUENT CLAIMS COLLECTIONS
HIMCRS LLC will research your current claims as well as all pending claims regarding denials and rejections of all claims. A thorough investigation of each claim will be conducted to find out why a claim was rejected with a full report of each claim. HIMCRS LLC will submit information needed to insurance companies regarding pending claim to help with the processing of the claims. A request of payment of claims from insurance companies whenever possible if no other reason for nonnpayment of claim is found. Most claims are collectable and sometimes a phone call to the insurance company is all that is needed.
This service is available as an independent service to all providers. Sometimes a provider has a huge backlog of old claims that have been neglected and therefore unable to work due to lack of time in the office.
PAYMENT POSTING
HIMCRS LLC will post all insurance and private pay payments to each individual account. As the posting of payments to the accounts occur, all writeoffs and adjustments will be made according to the explanation of benefits. Once all payments have been received from the insurance companies then HIMCRS LLC will bill the balance to the patient for copays and deductibles as instructed by the explanation of benefits.
INDEPENDENT CLINIC AUDIT
HIMCRS LLC conducts independent audits of individual clinics. These audits will consist of step-by-step evaluation of your clinic practices. You need to know how your clinic rates with your patients and if you are doing everything you can do to receive the greatest amount of revenue based on the amount of claims sent out. From the beginning when the patient arrives in the office to receiving final payment for the services rendered.
INDEPENDENT MEDICAL RECORD AUDIT
HIMCRS LLC will randomly select 40 charts a month. Each chart will be completely analyzed and inspected for proper documentation as specified by coding guidelines. This also includes verifying all signatures, diagnosis and proper level of service was selected for that particular visit according to the documentation the provider provides in the record. This documentation will be compared to the information submitted for claim processing and reimbursement. A detailed report of the audit will be submitted each month to the provider of the chart. The provider will be given a chance to discuss with the auditor the finding of the report. This type of auditing helps the provider/clinic to maintain a higher level of integrity and ethical behavior.
CERTIFIED CODER
HIMCRS LLC staffs certified coders to assist all providers and clinics with the most appropriate and current ICD-9 and CPT codes used to bill out all claims. These coders will be available to answer any and all questions related to coding and billing. Any changes in ICD-9 and CPT will be thoroughly explained to each provider as the changes occur. All claims will be examined by certified coders to insure proper billing and coding has occured for each claim. Whenever a discrepency in documentation and billing occurs, the coder will approach the provider for that claim and ask for clarification in writing. No coder will assume a diagnosis code or procedure code and will only bill and code according to the documentation on the chart.
CREDENTIALING
HIMCRS LLC will assist in maintaining the credentials of each provider for each insurance company that each provider is associated with per clinic or location. This will include all new providers to a community or clinic and all their credentialing needs.
FEE SCHEDULES AND PRICING
HIMCRS LLC will maintain all fee schedules and pricing for all providers and clinics with a comparison to the fee schedule and pricing of all insurance companies.
MEDICAL RECORDS
HIMCRS LLC will help maintain your provider medical records while at the same time protecting patient confidentiality by abiding by HIPAA guidelines and regulations. HIMCRS LLC will conduct audits to make sure each provider has complete documentation in each chart with the appropriate signatures to reflect the claim billed out and medical necessity for all procedures ordered for that date of service. ALSO HIMCRS LLC will assist in the transition of medical records to elctronic medical records. HIMCRS LLC will use the software of your choice or HIMCRS LLC will assist in providing you with the most updated, state of the art software to take care of all the needs of your clinic.
